Dr. Kerry Flint holds a PhD in Public Health -Epidemiology, is a Registered Nurse with a Master's degree in nursing education, and certified in infection control (CIC).
Kerry has worked in a variety of clinical settings as a nurse, including pediatric critical care where she assumed a variety of clinical roles, including nurse educator. She has worked in Infection Control since 2007. Prior to consulting she was an Infection Control Practitioner for an acute care facility, where she was responsible for surveillance, reporting of infections, and HAI prevention projects across a range of settings and special populations. She is also education faculty for the Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC), teaching the APIC EPI Intensive Program. She is also actively involved in HAI prevention activities for New Mexico and is a past President and Officer for the NM APIC chapter.
